Morgan’s Message

Schuyler DeBree – Former Professional Soccer Player in the NWSL & Kyra Harney – Former Women’s LAX Player at Duke University share their personal connections on why mental health matters. Morgan’s Message is a nonprofit that amplifies stories, resources, and expertise to confront student-athletes’ mental health. It started after Morgan Rodgers died by suicide in 2019 at the age of 22 during her time at Duke University. She was on the lacrosse team, a very outgoing successful woman. Her parents and teammates started Morgan’s Message in her honor to help end the stigma around mental health and athletes.
