A mother’s love is forever ♥️?️
When Myra Sack and Matt Goldstein tragically lost their daughter Havi Lev at “2 years, four months and 16 days old” due to Tay-Sachs Disease, a fatal neurodegenerative condition, their grief was overwhelming. Matt and Myra underwent preconception genetic testing for Tay-Sachs, but their carrier status was misreported.
But in the year that followed, Myra realized her experience of loving and being a mother to Havi Lev had made her life more beautiful – and Havi’s memory continues to inspire her, despite her pain and sadness. She hopes to inspire other grieving parents and people to embrace the painful but transformative power of loss, and to integrate their grief into their lives in a way that ultimately makes life more beautiful.
