Pay It Forward Moment

This is Stevie, a good friend of mine. She lives by herself and is one of the most selfless people I know. She is very humble and never asks anyone for anything. Not too long ago she was devastated with news of a family member that was taken to the hospital and at the time, was not sure if they would pull through. And most recently, her vehicle broke down on her and she had to take it in for repairs. Even though all of this has been going on, she has stayed optimistic and has tried to make the best of her situation. I decided to reach out to her on Friday 2/18/22 and share with her, the opportunity I had been given by the company to help someone in need and to try to make a difference. I presented the card to her and explained a little bit of what the goal was and she was beyond grateful that I had chosen her. Wait, but there’s more….. After I presented her with the $100, an anonymous person had heard about what our company was doing and decided to match the $100! I couldn’t believe it. The power of kindness is still alive and I hope that people in this world do take the time to Pay it Forward when they can, we can all make this world a better place to live if we do. Thank you for this opportunity, I really enjoyed making someone’s day and I can’t wait to hear other peoples stories. – jarimy
