* Was told by teachers that I should be in special education classes. * Was told by coaches that I was not smart enough to remember a playbook as a child. * Became a proud undergraduate alumni of “The Unsinkable” Albany State University. * Was denied by every law school that I applied to, but one. * Attended WMU Cooley Law School; served as President of the Student Bar Association, among many other honors. * At the same time, served as a paralegal in the United States Air Force Reserves. * Lost my sister in my arms before my last semester of law school. * Battled and overcame depression while taking 5 classes. * Graduated as a valedictory speaker of my law school class. * Took the bar exam and failed the first time. * Passed the bar exam on my second attempt. * Now, I am the FIRST attorney in my family! Is there anything too hard for God?
