NFL Player David Nelson Dedicates His Life to Helping Haiti’s Orphans

David Nelson

As the NFL season starts this week, instead of focusing on the on-field achievements of various players,  we would rather pay tribute to a player who is dedicating his life to Haiti’s orphans. David Nelson, currently on the injured reserve list for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is  the legal guardian for nearly two dozen Haitian children and along with his brothers and non-profit organization, I’m ME, the benefactor to thousands more.   This humanitarian is a role model for all other athletes on the impact they can make off the field.
