Silas is a 14-year-old living with end stage renal disease. His medical condition has prevented him from physically participating in sports, so he wished to have video recording equipment to create and tell sports stories. His wish was granted last December, but he is still in need of more. He is looking for a donor for his second kidney transplant as his first sadly failed.

Silas is in dialysis 3 days a week and is actively on the waiting list for a deceased or living donor. July 26th will mark a year since he started dialysis. He will be starting high school this fall and dialysis causes him to miss quite a bit of school so a donor soon would allow him to not miss much of his high school years.

If you or someone you know wants to make a life-changing impact in Silas’ life, please email ahug@wisconsin.wish.org. To learn how you can help a child battling a critical illness through a wish come true, please visit the link in the bio. (www.wish.org/wisconsin)
